SF Environment Climate Equity Hub free heat pump water heater (HPWH) (up to $10,785 in rebate funding to fully cover cost of upgrade). SF is transitioning from gas to electric appliances to reduce air pollution. Eligibility: 1) currently use gas water heater that is more than 8 years old, 2) household earns up to 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI) (i.e. 4-person household < $115,300 per year). Internet discounts for low-income

Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) https://www.fcc.gov/acp is FCC benefit program provides following discounts for eligible households (income <200% FPL or other specified low-income criteria https://www.affordableconnectivity.gov/do-i-qualify/):

  • up to $30/month toward internet service, or up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands

  • one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase laptop/desktop computer/tablet from participating providers, with co-payment $10-$50 toward purchase price.
